The History of Origin Amenity Solutions

Formed in 2021 from four leading amenity brands, Headland Amenity, Rigby Taylor, Symbio and Turfkeeper, OAS combines the knowledge, experience, technology and product innovation of these brands to offer the industry a package of products for the future of an ever-changing industry.

The team behind OAS are paramount to the success of the business, each has a wealth of knowledge of the day-to-day workings of the amenity industry. Whether you are preparing a golf tee area, specifying wildflowers for a public space or managing a team of greenskeepers, they have the experience to assist. Our teams are qualified with both BASIS and FACTS and have worked with greenskeepers and grounds managers across the UK developing bespoke maintenance programmes that are proven to succeed and offer long-term solutions.

The importance of supply and delivery

At OAS we understand the importance of supply and delivery, the business is supported by a extensive stock holding within its warehouse in Lincolnshire. It is managed by a real-time stock management system, that ensures products are available throughout all the key seasonal periods. We partner with a network of established hauliers, that have worked with the OAS brands for a long time and understand the requirements of our customer base. Whether you require a pallet of fertiliser in Scotland or an irrigation system installing in Devon we have the know-how, capabilities and stock-holding to deliver on-time.


Turf Science Reasearch Center

In August 2021 OAS established its own turf science research centre in Dunmow, Essex. The £1m investment by OAS has enabled the brand to take the lead in trials reporting and research programmes for turf based products. The research centre was created to provide an insight into the future of our industry, with warmer Summers and milder Winters affecting maintenance programmes, the research centre is observing our climate and assessing suitability of products. Water management continues to be high on the agenda as we see more and more.
